The DB 285 JC, aka "Little Jack," was co-designed by Hot Tuna/Jefferson Airplane bassist Jack Casady and Aguilar CEO Dave Boonshoft. They both were looking for just the right blend of deep bass, accurate midrange, and smooth treble in a smaller size cabinet.
The cabinet handles 300-watts RMS into 4-ohms and houses two 8-inch cast frame woofers and one 6.5-inch mid-range driver. It measures: 24-inches high by 111/2-inches wide by 14 1/2-inches deep and weighs 50 lbs. With a wide frequency response and a sensitivity rating of 95 dB using 1W at 1meter, the DB 285 JC is designed to pick up subtle nuances in your playing style.
