D2: Duets Volume Two from DW Drums

The "love fest" continues between drumming legends Terry Bozzio and Chad Wackerman with D2: Duets Volume Two, a full-length performance DVD filmed in L.A. Following their last sold out tour and following the same basic format as Solos And Duets their first DVD, this 45-minute improvised performance was filmed as it happened and includes music composed specifically for drumset. Bozzio comments: "Chad and I had just returned from our "D2" Duets tour and our musical connection really has evolved and grown more cohesive since we tried this back in 2001."
A much more sophisticated video production this time out, multiple camera angles and digital sound puts viewers right in the middle of the percussive onslaught.
In post-performance interviews both the Frank Zappa alums Bozzio and Wackerman explain their unique approach to the instrument and give an analysis of their performance, their practice routines and their musical expression. This disc is a tremendous inspirational boost for any drummer--beginner to crusty 'ol pro and would make a great gift!
