The AT4054 and AT4055 are based on the same advanced technology used in the AT4050 studio microphone. True capacitor, large-diaphragm design has been optimized to provide natural audio reproduction for live sound reinforcement and recording. They feature very low self-noise, exceptional transient response and high sound pressure level capability.

The AT4054 features a tailored low-frequency roll-off while the AT4055 remains flat and both mics have an off-axis response that is linear and uniform across the entire frequency range. The AT4054 and AT4055 require a 48V DC phantom power source and have a unique shock-mount system that ensures extremely low handling noise and superior mechanical shock resistance. The microphone element is protected by an internal hardened-steel capsule and sturdy external windscreen.
